About me
Chris Meyer’s career in Physical Education spans 36 years most recently serving as Department Chair at Lewiston High School. Under Chris’s leadership her department secured $200,000 of grant funding for the implementation of heart rate technology, an innovative fitness education learning platform, and fitness equipment to support their Comprehensive School Physical Activity Program. Chris is an advocate for quality physical education presenting at local, regional and national conferences, mentoring student teachers and serving on SHAPE Idaho’s executive board. Chris has been recognized as the Lewis-Clark State College Outstanding Teacher Educator of the Year and Christi was recently named SHAPE Idaho’s High School Teacher of the Year.
