Special Event: The 43rd Annual Colorado Junior Wheelchair Sports Camp
Wednesday June 3, 2026 9:30am - 11:30am MDT
This event is an opportunity to volunteer to support the 43rd Annual Colorado Junior Wheelchair Sports Camp. This is a sports camp for the physically disabled, designed for children who use a wheelchair or could use a wheelchair, so that they are able to compete in wheelchair sports or are ambulatory and have a physical disability. It will be most beneficial for youth with the ability to learn the rules of specific sports. Volunteers will observe, encourage, and directly support participants across a wide range of activities, including archery, sled hockey, hand cycling, basketball, tennis, golf, swimming, bowling, soccer, softball, rugby, fencing, lacrosse, kayaking, and fishing plenty of opportunities to make a positive difference and share in the fun. This is also an opportunity to see how these activities can be adapted to support students with disabilities.
