Colorado Health and Physical Education Summit 2026

Sue Howk, RDN is a Community Health Promotion Specialist at Arapahoe County Public Health with over 25 years of public health experience. As a dietitian she has spent much of her career teaching nutrition to families in a variety of settings and most recently is using her presentation skills to teach vape and nicotine prevention to staff, parents and students in schools throughout Arapahoe County. She earned her Bachelor of Science in dietetics at Central Michigan University. Throughout her public health career, Sue has made learning interactive and fun when teaching community classes, developing lesson plans and presenting at national, state and local conferences.
