About me
Sheyla Martinez is a physical education lecturer at SUNY Brockport, where she teaches courses in physical education and adapted physical education. She has more than 10 years of experience in the field, including five years teaching in Colorado. She is also a doctoral candidate whose research focuses on the experiences of multilingual learners with disabilities in physical education. She is passionate about collaborating with practitioners and values their knowledge of what is truly happening in schools. Through this collaboration, she aims to help bridge research and practice to support more inclusive and meaningful physical education experiences for all students.
