About me
I am the Adapted PE Specialist at Denver Public Schools. I have been teaching for 10+ years and my main goal is to make sure every student, no matter their ability, gets to experience the joy and benefits of physical education. I train teachers to adapt PE activities, use visual aids, structure classes, and offer one-on-one support to make sure students with disabilities can succeed. I believe that every single kid deserves to be included and feel good about themselves. I've seen countless times how much stronger and happier students with disabilities become when they're truly part of a group, moving and laughing with their peers.
